Cookie Notice

This notice explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which ones this website uses, what they are used for, and how you can control them.

Version: structure draft, not yet effective

Inventory check: run before publishing

Cookie notices must match what the site actually does

A cookie notice that lists tools the site does not use, or omits one it does use, is worse than no notice at all. Section 1 records what this build actually loads today, verified against the source. Everything else is a template that must be completed once analytics or marketing tools are added.

What this site does today

Checked against the current source of this build, on the date shown above:

  • No first-party cookies are set. The site code does not write cookies, and it does not use browser local storage or session storage.
  • No analytics or advertising script is present. No tag manager, analytics library, or marketing pixel is loaded.
  • One third-party request is made. The Inter typeface is loaded from Google Fonts through a stylesheet import, which means a request reaches Google’s servers when a page is opened.
  • Forms do not send data anywhere. The login, free trial, demo, and contact forms validate input in the browser only, and do not yet post to a backend.
Two items need a decision before launch

The Google Fonts request is the only third-party transfer on the site today. Organizations that must meet strict EU expectations typically self-host the font to avoid it. Self-hosting Inter is a small change to the stylesheet and removes the transfer entirely.

Every item above stops being true the moment a form backend, an analytics tool, or a chat widget is added. Re-run this check whenever that happens.

Required inputs before publication

Not part of the published notice

  • Whether analytics or marketing tools will be used at all, and if so, which ones.
  • If a consent management platform is used: its name, how consent is recorded, and how it is withdrawn.
  • The full cookie inventory once tools are added — each cookie with its name, setter, purpose, and lifespan.
  • Regional rules that apply, and therefore which categories need prior consent and which do not.
  • Whether session records are stored server-side and how long they persist.
  • Confirmation of whether anyone under the applicable age of consent uses the site.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store. It lets the site recognize your browser on a later visit — for example to keep you signed in, or to remember a preference. Similar technologies, including local storage and pixels, work in comparable ways, and this notice covers them too.

Cookies are either session cookies, which are removed when the browser closes, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or are deleted.

Categories we would use

The table below is the frame to complete if cookies are introduced. A cookie must not be deployed under a category that does not describe it, and each entry needs to match what the browser actually receives.

To be supplied before launch

  • Replace the placeholder cells with real values once each tool is confirmed.
  • Decide whether non-essential cookies are blocked until consent is given, and confirm the site behaves correctly when they are blocked.

Managing cookies

Cookies can be controlled in your browser settings. Each browser offers a way to view stored cookies, delete them, block cookies from specific sites, or block third-party cookies entirely. Blocking all cookies may prevent parts of a website from working — including, on this site, anything that depends on staying signed in.

Where a consent tool is in place, its settings can be revisited at any time, and consent can be withdrawn as easily as it was given.

To be supplied before launch

  • If a consent banner is added, confirm what happens to the choice when the site is visited again later.
  • Confirm whether a record of consent is kept, where, and for how long.

Third-party requests

Some content is served from other companies’ systems. When that happens, those companies can see your IP address and which page made the request, even if no cookie is set.

This site currently makes one such request, for the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Any future third-party service — analytics, live chat, embedded video, or a payment page — should be added to this section before it goes live.

To be supplied before launch

  • Confirm whether the font is self-hosted. If it is, remove the Google Fonts paragraph above — otherwise the notice will not match the site.
  • List any further third-party requests with the purpose and the data each one receives.

Changes to this notice

This notice is updated whenever the cookies used by the site change. The date shown at the top of the page marks the last time the inventory was checked against the live site.
